Unexpectedly, we met  the Vikasa Foundation through a member associated with Style Queen World. Amidst the hustle of my 10th board exams, our first training session unfolded in the comfort of my home. Gathered were a diverse group of 10-11 women from Vikasa's stitching group, spanning various age demographics. As I explained the mission behind our project, emphasising our commitment to fostering personal financial independence and creative exploration, the women listened attentively.

With cut pieces of cloth distributed amongst them, I elucidated the art of crafting cloth flowers. Many of these women were already undergoing training with Vikasa, geared towards establishing small businesses in their hometowns. Our initiative, Hands of Shakti, aimed to provide them with an avenue for enjoyable and lucrative tasks  during their leisure hours which not only allows them to explore their creative side but earn money through it.

Along with this, I discussed with all of them  avenues I could further assist them with . We plan on helping them establish bank accounts, a crucial step towards financial empowerment. Additionally, recognising the significance of language proficiency in today's global landscape, we resolved to offer guidance in both English and Hindi, equipping these women with essential skills so that they can access more opportunities.
