Hands of Shakti presented its artworks and products at Gallery Art Cradle, Gurugram, Haryana, India. Curator Malabika Sakia represented HOS and introduced our ideology, art works and products to her clientele.
The entire show garnered a lot of attention. The former Miss India who is also an artist was invited as chief guest at the show. The show was covered by the popular Hindi newspaper Dainik Bhaskar along with other online news channels and YouTube channels. (Details are give in the media section above).
HOS gained recognition amongst many people due to this exhibition.
The artworks and products were greatly appreciated and sold too. This sale at this exhibition gave us funds to further continue the training and purchase of cloth flowers from the women of the communities we are working with.
Since we completed the cycle of training-collecting flowers from the ladies-converting them into products and art works-selling them, it gave me a sense of confidence and joy that we can continue this project further.
