We are thrilled to announce that the Hands of Shakti Podcast has been given the incredible opportunity to participate in the prestigious community outreach program at Jesus and Mary College, New Delhi. This esteemed institution's recognition means a lot to us and reflects our commitment to empowering women.

We had the honour of training a group of talented women who had already completed a stitching course and possessed the skills to create garments. The women were from many different age groups and experience levels that brought new perspectives to the sessions.  Our sessions were highly interactive, which

helped create an environment of collaboration and mutual learning.

We initially started off by teaching them how to make basic items of embellishment such as pumpkin balls and afterwards taught them how to make the signature flowers of Hands of Shakti. The process of making these flowers sparked a great deal of curiosity and excitement among the participants. Many of the women were eager to know how these flowers would be used after we purchased them from them. Their

enthusiasm was palpable, and they even offered creative suggestions on potential applications for the flowers, showcasing their innovative spirit which we were so happy to see.
